The Forge Bell

The iron is on the anvil and the master smith is watching. You have twelve seconds: hammer it as many times as you can.

But the master has a bell, and he rings it whenever he likes. While it rings, hold still: a strike on ringing iron cracks it and costs you hits. And the very first strike as the bell falls silent is perfect, worth three.

Mashing blindly won't get you far. Listen, wait, and pounce.
