Keyrun

Your key is waiting at the top of the island. Your door is all the way over on the other side. Go!

Every island in Keyrun is a mirror. You run the blue half, and on the orange half runs your rival: a real player, the one just ahead of you on that island's table, jump for jump beside you. Beat them and the next one up is waiting. Beat everyone and the record is yours, and from then on you're racing yourself.

Climb ladders, swing from ropes, ride the big wheels, stack crates and hammer your pulley up to the landing, then carry your key across to your door. Spikes, flames, axes and rolling boulders will knock you off, but a fall only sends you back to your last flag, key and all.

• Two islands, Noon and Sunset, each with its own table for the week and for all time
• Your rival is always the player just ahead: climb the table one place at a time
• Splits at the flag, the key and halfway: green when you're ahead, red when you're behind
• A medal every race: gold for beating your rival, silver for coming close, bronze for getting home
• Keyboard or a big on-screen joystick on your phone, in English and Spanish

• ← → or A D to run; Space to jump, and again in the air for a double jump
• ↑ ↓ or W S to climb ladders and ropes; on a rope, ← → to swing and Space to jump off
• E (or F) to pick up and put down crates, and to hammer your pulley up to the landing
• Tab: see the whole island · R: start over · Esc: leave the race · Enter: race
• On a phone: the joystick to move, climb and swing, Jump, and Action (Pull on the pulley)
